FIRST LOOK: Avengers 4 gets a title AND trailer!

After a game-changing decade of cinema, the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it will climax with…Avengers: Endgame.

Rumours had been circulating all week that today could be the day superhero fans get their first glimpse at the trailer and Marvel did not disappoint.

Endgame 1

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame will – hopefully – resolve the devastating cliffhanger that closed Avengers: Infinity War and saw fifty per cent of the franchise’s heroes turned to dust by Josh Brolin’s Thanos.

Many of the MCU’s mammoth cast are believed to be bowing out with this fourth Avengers blockbuster and so expect emotions to be high.

The trailer, which you can watch below, opens with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) floating alone in space and, seemingly, on the verge of death. We then cut to Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Natasha Romanov discussing the fight of their lives, before a twist conclusion – to get fans talking – sees Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) appear, despite allegedly being trapped in the Quantum Realm.

Chris Hemsworth, Karen Gillan, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner can also be spied in the trailer, not to mention a snap of Tom Holland, whilst the film is expected to feature an appearance by Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers too.

Avengers: End Game is set to land in UK cinemas on 26 April 2019.

This Kipling adaptation takes time to get used to but is generally worth the effort.
