The Frozen gang are back in Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, a 21 minute short featuring four brand new songs! There’s a trailer too!

When you create the highest-grossing animation all time, the pressure on future outings is always going to be pretty massive.

There’s still some time yet before the feature length sequel to 2013’s uber-hit Frozen reaches international screens (November 2019!) but – fear not – we are just months away from yet another Frozen short being released.

After Frozen Fever preceded Disney’s live-action Cinderella two years ago, Chris Buck and  Jennifer Lee’s beloved characters are back in Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, this time directed by Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers.

The short is 21 minutes long (a mighty 14 minute increase on Frozen Fever) and features four brand new original songs.

Josh Gad will once again voice Olaf the snowman, who decides to go an epic adventure with Kristoff’s (Jonathan Groff) reindeer Sven to find Arendelle the perfect Christmas tradition.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will once more lend their talents to sisters Anna and Elsa.

Currently the film is due to precede Pixar’s latest – Coco – this November, but Disney have now announced that UK fans will be able to catch the short in cinemas on November 25 and 26, in front a re-run of Frozen itself.

A crafty move to squeeze more cash out of Frozen‘s dedicated following that this may be, the attraction is a strong one.

Tickets go on sale from November 1.
